(Normally I use 6-8pm on Tuesday to take a quick nap but I guess I can learn something in my AFRO class)

Lesson number one was
written on an aged black chalkboard
in white jagged cursive:

"you can't carry the world's burdens on your shoulders."


the reason we speak only of the future,
the slogan for American society,
the poster child for hope.
